In addition to the function of the lock, chances are you’ll be concerned with the aesthetics of the lock hardware you buy. It may be necessary to buy a certain lock that matches with the style, period, or decor of your home.
To get the best possible exterior door hardware, spend as much money as you can reasonably afford.
Remember that you can’t put a price on your family’s safety. If you are working with a limited budget, you may need to shop around to find an affordable deal on quality lock hardware, but if cost is less of an issue, purchasing the best quality door hardware available is a worthwhile investment in your family’s safety.
